The thing that is making me happiest in the world this Saturday is my Pumpkin Spice coffee creamer. Nom nom nom. I love fall.

ukefied mentioned this earlier today, but a '60s icon died this week. Who didn't grow up listening to Puff the Magic Dragon as a kid? Mary Travers of Peter, Paul and Mary passed away.

Do I watch the new Merlin or Sons of Anarchy first? I hope this is the toughest decision I have to make all day.

I had to caption the Jonas Brothers "Paranoid" last night at work. :/ It... wasn't horrible.

Anyone got any good crockpot recipes? I am new to crockpot cooking, so suggestions and tips are welcome too. (I did end up making my chicken enchiladas last week. Threw some leftover spinach inside them too. Again with the Nom nom nom!)

I still think the first Kane album is my favorite. I like the more garage-band feel of the earlier stuff and I don't care as much for the polished vibe of the new stuff, but I do really like this version of Luckenbach, Texas.



Okay, for the first time since... last November? I am almost excited for SPN. Yes, I caved and watched this promo. (the song is awesomely creepy and available for DL on the CW site. Come on, awesome+free=WIN!) Still leery about where Show is going though. And Jim said something at the con that did nothing to allay my fears.


Now that I am mostly recovered from the con plague and the wildfire soot and I have a three-day weekend at my fingertips, I'm not sure what to do with myself. I could sort pictures from Vancouver, read fanfic, try my hand at vidding, work on my recs post for spnroundtable darn that other reccer for reccing vids today. That's what I was going to do (Would it be too pointed of me to do a set of Sam-centric recs?) go grocery shopping, various housecleaning things, catch up on TV, put some stuff on ebay to sell. I don't know what to do with myself when I have too many options and no deadlines.

Wanna hear something awesomely creepy and stalkery? My sister's ex from 15 years ago just friended me on facebook. He also emailed her just before she got married a few years ago, but she ignored it.

This vid made me grin like a loon. Not because of the music, but because they caught some awesome moments that people don't often use in vids.

In work news, earlier this week I captioned a new music video by... wait for it... Glen Campbell! It was surprisingly catchy and I can't get the chorus out of my head (It's called "Sing" if you run across it anywhere.) Then in music video news I am somewhat ashamed to admit, I kinda liked the Demi Lovato one I captioned too. Though I'd have guessed the girl was in her early 20s and not 16-year-old! Yikes. Also it turns out we won't be getting True Blood to caption for whatever reason. Which means I probably won't watch it. *^_^*


My big goals for the weekend include cleaning off my coffee table (an all-day job itself) and doing a set of spnroundtable recs.

Every time I see someone post that zombie meme I am shocked that they're not picking Queen as their soundtrack. Did no one see Shaun of the Dead? Queen is the ONLY appropriate music when fighting zombies.

We had to caption a McCain commercial last night. Bleack.

My dad started cancer treatment this week and called it uneventful. Yaye.
