So, you people curious about the Kindle and ebook readers, there's a good overview of the different formats here and what device they work on. I think until there's one dominant format (like mp3s in music) everyone's going to be stuck converting formats.

Ahaha! I kinda want fanfic where Metallicar is starting to get irritated with all these other people who have started riding around with her boys. She just wants the open road and the boys in her front seat and that's all she needs. She refuses to open her doors to let these strangers in. *facepalm* Project much, Storm?

Roundtable recs. I've read a couple of really good stories this weekend/week. I kinda want to rec them, but then I think I should save them for Roundtable instead.

Sometimes I feel like I need a spreadsheet for all my friends' fandom likes and dislikes: this person hates Wincest/RPS/J2/Bobby/JDM, this person loves Castiel/Ruby/Danneel/Gen so don't say anything bad about them... I honestly can't keep it straight and am always a little worried about using the wrong icon or accidentally saying something that will offend one of y'all.

So a real (paraphrased) conversation I had at work a couple weeks ago:

Male Co-worker P: Hey, we're going to be doing the captioning on Reaper!
Me: Awesome! Now all we have to do is convince them to give us Supernatural too!
MCP: Isn't that some chick show?
Me: Yeah, kinda. Me and the gay coworker are probably the only ones here who'd want to work on it. So GIMME!

So I have been one of those evil defectors who are trying out new shows over hiatus. None of them have particularly caught my attention. Next on the list to try is Merlin.

Unlike some other networks I won't mention. *coughCWcough* Which reminds me that there's a copy of the new Chris Kane series floating around somewhere too. I should go hunt that puppy down. Oh, me likey. I hope this one runs awhile. Reminds me a little lot of The Hustle. (even down to the music, wow.) And it's got Chris Kane. And Timothy Hutton. And the guy who played Jake (who is much better here.) ^___^ ETA: Hehe, it would help if I mentioned the name. Leverage, coming this fall to TNT.

Every time I see someone post that zombie meme I am shocked that they're not picking Queen as their soundtrack. Did no one see Shaun of the Dead? Queen is the ONLY appropriate music when fighting zombies.

My dad started cancer treatment this week and called it uneventful. Yaye.

Yargh, now I'm late to get ready for work. Where does time go? *runs*

New ep tonight! I am so so nervous about the last two episodes this season because of how much Kripke cackled at Creation Con when talking about cliffhangers.
